Penn Hills Resort

Along with the Catskills, the Poconos in Northeastern PA was a mecca for summer resorts…particularly honeymooners. But eventually they began to go by the wayside providing some fine locations for us all to explore!

The Penn Hills Resort is accessible. VERY accessible. In fact it’s so accessible that you could flick your gum out the car window and hit the lobby alongside the road. When we arrived there were numerous hipsters roaming about taking selfies and looking concerned at us whether or not they should be there (just as we were).

Upon venturing inside, we found it to be yet another one of those many sites that visitors simply don’t abide by “take only pictures, leave only footprints”. But it was still enjoyable to poke around in for an hour or so.
