Grossingers Resort

A stunning location to visit, yet was a bit “late to the scene” on this place since it is one of the most quintessential urbex/abandoned locations in upstate NY to check out since it’s so accessible (you can view the pool indoor from your car). And I won’t go too much into detail of the history since you can’t swing a dead cat by the tail on urban exploration sites without hitting on a link to someone who has been there and done a much better job of documenting than I could. I can, however, get a bit of an inside scoop from a buddy of mine who worked there years ago. Check back here periodically for an update. In the meantime, enjoy the pics:

I parked along the street and bushwacked my way through the woods so as not to alarm any of the residents who live nearby. The outdoor pool was the first thing I came across:
